2. Information we collect
Information you give us when you request a quote, use the travel fee estimator or message us: your name, phone number, email, event date and start time, ZIP code, type of celebration, package of interest and any details you choose to share. When you book, we also collect the event address and the information needed for your contract and payment.
Information collected automatically: a language cookie (see section 6), and basic technical data our hosting provider records for security (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited). To prevent abuse of the travel fee estimator we keep a coded version of your IP address for about one hour.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your request, check availability and send your quote.
- To book, plan and deliver your event, prepare your contract and process payments.
- To estimate the travel fee for your ZIP code.
- To send reminders and important updates about your event.
- To improve our services and keep our website secure.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Hostinger: website hosting and email.
- Google: route and toll estimates for your ZIP code (only the ZIP code is sent) and our booking calendar.
- HoneyBook: quotes, contracts, invoices and booking management.
- WhatsApp / Meta: when you choose to message us there.
- Payment providers (such as Zelle, card processors, Klarna, Afterpay, Zip and Cash App Pay) when you pay.
We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights, our team or our clients.
5. Calls, text messages and WhatsApp
When you send us a request or message us, you agree that we may contact you by phone call, text message (SMS), WhatsApp or email about your request, your quote and your event. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP or by telling us. We will not send you marketing messages without your permission.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses one cookie, waoo_lang, to remember whether you prefer English or Spanish (it lasts up to one year). While you fill out the quote form, your browser temporarily keeps your answers (session storage) so we can pre-fill your WhatsApp message; it is erased when you close the tab. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, analytics or social media pixels. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives basic technical data such as your IP address. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work in your browser’s language.
7. Photos and videos at events
We sometimes take photos and short videos at events to show our work on our website and social media. If you prefer that we do not publish images of your event or your children, just tell us before or during the event. You can also ask us at any time to remove a published photo or video at sales@waooparty.com, and we will remove it promptly. We never publish children’s full names or your address.
8. Children’s privacy
Our services celebrate children, but this website is meant for parents, guardians and adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, deliver your event and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We use reasonable safeguards (secure connections, restricted access and private server files) to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by writing to sales@waooparty.com. We may need to keep some information to complete a booking or meet legal obligations. Depending on where you live (for example, Texas or California), you may have additional privacy rights; we will honor them as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If we start using analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy before doing so.
